(Press Release) Samsung Semiconductor, Inc., the world's leading supplier of advanced memory technology, today announced that it is ramping production of its full range of 1066 RDRAM to fully meet surging demand for these high speed memory modules. This move is expected to strengthen the company's industry leadership position by ensuring that customers receive ample supplies of 1066 RDRAM, the highest speed memory products available, in a timely manner. As the newest addition to Samsung's DRAM portfolio, the 1066Mbps (533MHz) RDRAM RIMM modules, available in 128MB and 256Mb densities, provide the highest performance memory currently on the market for use in PC, workstations and serious gaming machines. Samsung is now delivering rapidly increasing quantities of 1066 RDRAM RIMM to the major PC mother board companies that are leading the market with PC system boards built on the Intel 850E chipset.
