(Press Release) AMD has announced its support of the latest update to the Microsoft Windows CE .NET operating system, Windows CE .NET version 4.1. Windows CE .NET is an excellent platform to capitalize on the performance, versatility and dependability of the MIPS(R) technology-based Au1 core processors from AMD. The Alchemy Au1000, Au1100 and Au1500 processors from AMD provide outstanding combinations of high performance and low power consumption. These System-on-a-Chip processors are well suited for non-PC Internet appliances, such as Web pads, PDAs, as well as gateways such as routers and line cards.
