    (Reuters Story) Zoran Corp., a maker of chips for consumer electronics, on Monday said it would acquire Oak Technology Inc. for $342 million in cash and stock to broaden its offerings of technology for HDTV and digital-imaging products. Shares in Zoran, based in Santa Clara, California, fell on the news, while shares of Oak Tech, based in Sunnyvale, California, rose.
