This Reuters story discusses some recent comparisons which have been made between ATI's Radeon 9700 Pro and Nvidia's recently announced GeForce FX 5900 Ultra. In the story we also get comments from both companies on these web reviews.

"The 'Doom III' comparisons are meaningless to make at this stage," said Chris Evenden, an ATI spokesman, adding the company was unconcerned about any Nvidia gains since it will have its own product update later this year. "We're feeling pretty good about the whole thing actually."
