NEC Display Solutions of America has introduced a 24-inch widescreen monitor aimed at users in search of advanced technology and top performance. The MultiSync LCD2470WVX is a 1,900 by 1,200-pixel flat panel with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits of brightness, and a 5-millisecond response time. Both VGA and DVI-D with HDCP inputs are included.

In addition to a thin bezel designed for multi-monitor configurations, the $820 MultiSync LCD2470WVX provides a four-way ergonomic stand that lets users quickly and easily adjust display height, tilt, and swivel and pivot between portrait and landscape modes. No Touch Auto Adjust technology eliminates the chore of adjusting screen controls when connecting to a new system, with extra convenience coming from a Dynamic Video Mode that switches instantly between preset settings for standard, text, photo, movie, and gaming applications. Manual adjustments can be made via the PC's mouse with NEC's NaViSet software.
