Attendees at this weekend's World Cyber Games in Seattle get first crack at two new PC gaming peripherals from Razer and one from Belkin -- actually two and a half from Razer, since Belkin's n52te SpeedPad ($70) combines Razer software with a hybrid gaming keyboard. The n52te features a backlit keypad and scroll wheel, 15 fully programmable keys, a programmable 8-way thumb pad with removable joystick, and a soft-touch wrist pad for comfortable play. Razer Synapse onboard memory enables plug-and-play connection with no extra software installation, while multiple player profiles and easy toggling between three keymap states keep things versatile.

The $80 Razer Lycosa keyboard combines illuminated, non-slip rubber keys with 1000Hz/1ms Ultrapolling and Hyperresponse technologies for maximum performance. Fully programmable keys with macro capability join TouchPanel easy-access media keys and 10 customizable software profiles. The Razer Piranha ($80) is a stereo headset with adjustable noise-canceling microphone and ergonomically designed and cushioned earphones. An in-line remote control handles audio volume and microphone muting functions, while a 3.5mm minijack makes the headset usable with CD, DVD, and digital audio players.
