Famed for putting hardcore computing into small packages, Shuttle has introduced a small-form-factor barebones PC built around Intel's new performance flagship X38 Express chipset. The Shuttle XPC Prima SX38P2 Pro supports Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad/Extreme processors with either 1066MHz or 1333MHz front-side bus speeds, plus up to 8GB of DDR-2/800 memory overclocked to 1066MHz. Two PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots allow ATI CrossFire dual-card 3D graphics.

The Prima SX38P2 Pro features Shuttle's Oasis cooling technology to keep even an overclocked system cool using fanless heatsinks, as well as an 80 Plus-certified 400-watt power supply unit that's one-third more efficient than current PSUs. HD audio with 7.1-channel Dolby Digital Live and DTS Connect surround sound enhance the gaming experience, while USB Speed-Link technology provides easy PC-to-PC file sharing via a standard USB cable. The price of the 8.3 by 8.7 by 12.8-inch system has not been announced.
